No, it is a special sitting done at the school that is optional. The only difference is the fancy backdrop and the choice of pose. I think the company, Lifetouch, offers more and more choices each year. But they aren't cheap!
Those pictures turned out really cute. It is just amazing how quickly your boys are growing up. I have in my mind that they are still little, but when I see them or their pictures I realize that they are getting bigger.
